Bluzone is a underwater photography agency run by internationally
renowned underwater photographer Alex Misiewicz.
Alex learned to dive in New Zealand after returning from his first O.E. in 1978. His first open water dive was at the Poor Knights and from then on he was hooked leading many trips back up north in the following 2 years for an Auckland dive company.
He headed back overseas again in 1979 when the thirst for adventure again became too strong and he has travelled and dived extensively around the globe.
Alex moved back
to his native New Zealand in 2003 after spending many years overseas
(based mainly in the UK and Europe) to design and build a fast 12m
dive RHIB to explore the offshore islands off Tutukaka, Northland.
During his time
overseas he lived in the Egyptian Red Sea on many occasions over
an 18 year period and worked as a dive guide, instuctor and even
a stint as skipper of the infamous Ghazala 1 liveaboard.
